For Maggie LeBlanc, becoming a real estate broker was not exactly a childhood dream. While she has earned a sterling reputation and solid and loyal customer base in the greater Mount Pleasant area, she admitted that she came upon her career somewhat by happenstance.
“Really, I fell into it,” she said of her start in the business. “I needed a job out of college and got a job answering phones at the front desk of a real estate office. Then I got offered a job as the assistant to the owner of that company, and then a buyers’ agent, and the rest is history.”
Years later, she now says with zest, “I love what I do.”
LeBlanc has been licensed for 34 years and holds broker’s licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina. A guild member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, she purchased Keller Williams – The Infinity Group in 2012, and she and her team cover Beaufort, Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
“We focus on residential real estate, and I specialize in luxury real estate,” she explained.
She commented, “I most enjoy the ability to affect a phenomenal home-buying or home-selling experience for our clients. We understand that the only thing that sets us apart in this technology-driven world is the experience our clients have with our business and our team.”
She and her husband, Art, who works as an agent alongside his wife, live west of Ashley, near Magnolia Plantation.
“My husband joined my firm after retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps after 30 years of service in 2014,” she said.
The LeBlancs have four children and four grandchildren.
