After purchasing For the House “The Barstool Shop” nine years ago, owner Lisa Carrels made it her mission to go above and beyond her customers’ expectations.

New homeowners rushed into For the House “The Barstool Shop” one day, panicked that they did not have anything to sit on while they were waiting for their moving van to arrive – which was going to be several more weeks. Carrels merely looked at them and offered to let them borrow a few of the stools she was just pulling from the sidewalk until they had a chance to find some permanent ones – either from her store or elsewhere.

When the almost certain would-be customers expressed their surprise at her generosity, Carrels explained that that was just how her business operated. Her goal is to help people out and to find a solution to their needs. If they are happy, she has achieved her goal.

With over 150 styles to choose from and the ability to fully customize furniture, The Barstool Shop offers vanity stools, counter stools, bar stools, dining stools, pub tables and miscellaneous furniture pieces.

Carrels and her team excel in customer service and are always willing to accommodate their patrons’ schedules, whether for delivery, special hours, home visits or appointments.
