Meet Erica Zepp Q&A

CW: How do you find your passion?
“Working in real estate allows me to do what I genuinely love — being able to successfully help others find a home and a lifestyle with as much joy here as I have makes all of it worth it. If you have the right mindset of helping and serving others, success will follow. I also find my passion through having the right perspective and allowing what comes natural to me and using it. In this industry, you must be a chameleon and have the correct set of values paired with determination and competitive edge. I am truly inspired by my clients; each story is different, and at the end of the day, the relationships I build with my clients are extremely important to me.”

CW: What inspires you?
“I would say my parents have always inspired me to be me — my best me and my true me. They worked extremely hard, and I took notice. That work ethic is ingrained in me. However, a few years ago, it hit me that I didn’t want to work my life away for just any job. I’ve always enjoyed what I do, and I can’t help but to fully engulf myself to do my absolute best, but after seeing someone pass away at such a young age and knowing that they were not able to experience life to the fullest made me realize I need to do it in a better way. So I was fortunate enough to find real estate, which allows me to hold all those same values and hard work. Real estate has taught me to have more accountability for myself and my actions, learn better time management and take personal time. All of this together allows me to give my clients the best version of me.”

CW: Who influences you in your life currently?
“John Bell. I met John about two years ago, and I am lucky to have someone so intelligent, hardworking and positive who truly inspires and challenges me in my life. I could not ask for a better partner to do this crazy, fun-loving life with. We complement each other very well. My mother also inspires me. She is amazing! She is always doing for others, and she does not have a selfish bone in her body. She has beat cancer three times, which reminds me to keep going and pushing, no matter what. The woman is truly an angel, and I’m not sure what I would do without her. All in all, I am grateful for everyone in my circle, as they each bring key components to my life.”

CW: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or passed away), who would it be and why?
“My father. He passed away nine years ago from brain cancer. I was 22. He was an extremely smart, tough and hardworking man.”
