Passion is often a key motivator for entrepreneurs like René Clark, owner of Grammy’s Attic. She’s a business owner who has been doing what she adores for over ten years now, sharing, “At my age, I can honestly say, I am doing the thing I love most.” The thing she’s referring to is her antique, vintage, custom refurbished and new home furnishing store.
“My store is laid out in a way you can truly see the items in a home setting,” Clark shared, the excitement still in her voice.
Grammy’s Attic showcases old and new items, some consignment and estate sale items and new home décor straight from market. The shop also provides a space for local artists to exhibit their original artworks. Clark loves being able to curate and consign local artists to allow them a platform to show off original art.
In the spirit of encouraging others to live their own passions, Clark said, “Know who you are, and know your niche,” adding, “Have the patience to grow a business, as it takes time.”
If you are in the market for unique finds to embellish your home or are looking to update a piece of furniture, then stop by Grammy’s Attic today. If not, just pop in to the store off Clement’s Ferry Road for the inspiration alone.
