Tiffany Horton’s Vision for a More Welcoming Beauty Space

This image displays Tiffany Horton the owner f Lush LanguageLet’s face it. Beauty appointments can feel intimidating, especially when you’re trying a new service or a new business for the first time. And that feeling is the very mission that set South Carolina native Tiffany Horton in motion—a movement toward a judgment-free, welcoming space where every woman is seen and included. A space that is now known as Lush Language.

“My journey started about eight years ago when I began paying close attention to what my community needed. At the time, lash services were just starting to gain traction but weren’t nearly as common as they are now. I decided to learn the craft so I could bring something new and valuable to the women around me,” explains Horton. Horton’s love for the community set her on a trajectory of education both nationally and internationally to truly refine the craft of lashes. Horton continues, “Over time, that passion grew beyond services and led me to create my own professional lash brand, T. Charnise Lash, which now allows me to support artists not only locally but across the country with quality products they can trust.”

With intentional time for each client, Lush Language provides a comforting space filled with empowering services. “Trust is built over time, and once clients feel comfortable with you as a professional, it makes sense to create a one-stop space where they don’t have to go anywhere else,” says Horton.

To Horton, Summerville is more than an address—it’s the main character. Her love of downtown and local events inspires her daily to show up at her best. “The sense of community here is strong, and people truly support one another. Downtown Summerville doesn’t just provide a location; it provides a community that continues to support and uplift local businesses like mine.”

There’s no denying Lush Language is filled with heart, and that passion is leaving women across the Lowcountry feeling refreshed, known and confident. For Horton, that was always the goal: a space where each woman feels seen and beautifully herself.
