Postell encourages young women to connect with industry mentors who can guide them. “Find someone who’s already where you want to be, whether it’s a fellow business owner or someone who has been in the industry for years,” she advised. “It’ll help you avoid pitfalls and fast-track your success.”
Postell also founded She Means Business, an annual conference in Charleston designed to help women grow profitable businesses. The event provides not just valuable knowledge, but a powerful networking opportunity. “Building your tribe is essential,” she emphasized. “Surround yourself with people who push you to be better, who will lift you up toward your goals.”
