“My advice is to start with a clean, timeless base, and have fun incorporating your own style with furniture pieces and décor items you can switch out though the seasons. I tend to keep my general living space more neutral colors and have fun with color and wallpaper in more intimate spaces like my powder room and office. I’m also a firm believer that a cozy, inviting space is far more important than a perfectly curated home.”

“Greenery is my go-to. It makes a house feel alive and loved. We mix a lot of our faux greenery we sell in the shop with real florals, whether you purchase them from a grocery store or clip them from your yard — mixing them with the faux palms in a fabulous vase is always a moment. I also like to mix in coastal items that are not so obvious, like woven rattan trays, colorful coffee tables, books, candles and shells done in interesting ways — unexpected and statement accessories are key.”

“Our style of interiors reflects bright pastels, feminine home accessories and vintage items. In college, decorating on a budget is essential — as well as maximizing space. Amazon Home, Facebook Marketplace and estate sales offer great ways to find inexpensive, chic items that don’t break the bank.”
