CW: What do you all love about working together?
Dr. Ryan: “We love having the ability to discuss cases together to come up with the best treatment options for our patients. Two brains are better than one. We also are able to divide and conquer, so some days of the week, one of us is focusing only on doing thorough patient exams, and the other is giving all of her attention to a patient procedure.”
Dr. Dillard: “Working together adds so much more to the care we are able to provide to our patients. We are able to organize the schedule so we each have time to focus on our patients’ restorative needs and procedures, while the other has time to perform thorough exams and educate during dental checkups.”
CW: How do you two work together successfully?
Dr. Ryan: “Both being busy moms, we have a mutual understanding that we are both doing the best we can and support each other however possible. We fully trust and respect each other and communicate often. And we also just really enjoy each other.”
Dillard: “We are both very busy with work and family, so having each other, we can organize the schedule to accommodate both facets of life. We have days when we each practice separately so the other has time to be with family and manage our homes. When we are both in the office together, the schedule and our expanded office space allows us to deliver complementary patient care, with one dentist performing restorative procedures while the other dentist focuses on treatment planning and education.”
