She and Tom have three sons; the youngest are a junior and a senior, respectively, at Porter Gaud High School, and the oldest recently graduated from Clemson University.

Trouche is a member of Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. She also avidly supports Charleston’s arts and culture scene as a member of the Gibbes Museum of Art and is a supporter of the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and the Charleston Wine + Food Festival. Her husband serves on the Red Cross board, and they co-chaired the nonprofit’s Clara Barton Campaign fundraiser in 2016.
