CW: How do you find your passion?
“Happiness exists in each moment. Every day matters. No one knows how long they have on earth, so I do my best to live in the moment. If I am with a client, I’m 100% there, without distractions. I turn my phone off. I experience my clients, participating in their purchase or sale authentically, with their needs and concerns at the top of my mind. When the transaction is complete and they invite me to family dinners, send thank you cards, and refer their family and friends, I’m happy.”
CW: What habits do you implement in day-to-day life that you attribute to success?
“Observation, listening and persistence are the habits I implement on a daily basis. Truly listening to another person, making an effort to know and hear them and getting to the core of what they want. Being persistent helps me reach the dollar amounts we’ve set as goals on a listing or purchase.”
CW: What things do you find difficult?
“I find it difficult when a person is ill-informed and willing to accept anything less than excellence. I take the time to make sure my clients are fully informed and prepared. For a buyer in today’s market, it is about setting up the transaction details so they secure the purchase over other bids. For a listing, it is about preparing the property for photographs and showings, itemizing features, updates and upgrades. Every detail matters in a listing so you don’t leave money on the table.”
CW: How have the past year’s challenges changed you?
“More than ever, living in a great home in a great location is so important. I love Mount Pleasant. This year, I bought a second home in Lake Lure, North Carolina and can now help my clients buy and sell properties in the North Carolina mountains, as well as Mount Pleasant and the Charleston area.”
CW: Tell us about how you grew up.
“I grew up in countries across the globe in North America, Europe and Asia. What I discovered is, although cultures and cuisines differ, human beings are essentially similar with the same desires for love, security and happiness.”
