Zelda Bryant carries a personal and professional demeanor that serves her well in her occupation. She has a calm presence, allowing for a smooth transaction during the buying and selling process.

As Broker-in-Charge at Bryant Real Estate Group, she explained, “I’m an excellent listener and a good observer of people. You have to be able to communicate and ensure your client knows what is happening through the entire process of selling or purchasing a home.”

After 20 years of real estate, Bryant has a strong appreciation for the homes and property in Mount Pleasant and the surrounding area. She listed the most expensive property sold north of the Isle of Palms Connector for 2019, and her track record extends beyond Mount Pleasant, too.

“I’m very good at looking at a property — its features, condition and location — and understanding where the pricing should be,” she said. “I love the satisfaction I feel when I’ve accomplished my goal — the relationship of trust that evolves with clients and the appreciation they express for a job well done.”

Bryant never tries to influence a client to buy a particular home. That decision can only come from them, she opined. “A home is typically the largest investment one will make, but it also represents a spiritual center in their lives. I make sure they have all the information they need to make an informed decision, and I guide them through every step of the process.”

Bryant thrives on the one-on-one process of working with clients, forming relationships, and doing work that “positively impacts” their lives. Regarding her decision to enter the field of real estate, she said: “After a long career as financial and sales director in two other industries, I wanted something that utilized my strengths in sales, negotiations and financial analysis but had a deeper human connection. It is not unusual to work with a client and then their extended families and friends. I often feel that I become a member of the family, someone they turn to with any real estate-related questions or needs.”

Bryant enjoys the challenge and energy of real estate, as well. “Real estate is a dynamic occupation. I love being on the go, visiting properties, walking docks and sometimes getting on a boat. I also love the design aspects of real estate, particularly kitchens and outdoor spaces. Each transaction is a complex puzzle with many moving parts. I enjoy seeing the whole picture, putting together a strategy and carrying it out effectively to closing.”
