CW: When did you decide to go into the business you are in?
“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved visiting historic properties, decorator show homes and open houses. I was an on-air guest host for QVC (the home shopping network) for 13 years. Becoming a Realtor allowed me to combine my professional sales and marketing experience with my love of homes.”
CW: Tell us about how you grew up and what or who shaped you into the woman you are today.
“I grew up the oldest and only girl in a fantastic immediate and extended family in the Philadelphia suburbs. My Catholic school education helped shape a mild rebellious streak. I spent summers and free time at a local film and TV camp. Not surprisingly, I majored in communications with the goal of moving to Hollywood. Love intervened, and I met and married my husband.”
CW: Tell us about your family.
“You’re asking for a book in that question. The CliffsNotes: My husband, Damian Dachowski, is a drummer with the local band ‘What’s Up Chuck’ and is a dentist and owner of D3 Dentistry in Mount Pleasant. Our son, Declan, also a drummer, is a Wando High School graduate and attends Berklee College of Music. Our daughter, Kylie, is an assistant producer with Showtime Sports in New York City.”
