Thérése Jenkins of Beautiful Homes Realty of Charleston

Raised in the heart of the Hudson Valley in New York, Thérése Jenkins moved to the Big Apple after college graduation. After a few years working in sales at the national broadcasting network CBS and other companies, Thérése began her career in real estate. In 2003, she relocated to Charleston.

Beautiful Homes Realty of Charleston is a virtual office environment, meaning that Thérése and her group of agents are completely mobile and able to meet clients anytime and anywhere. The team works together to help each other succeed, and their boutique firm is currently in expansion mode.

As the broker-in-charge at Beautiful Homes Realty, Thérése is an active member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and the Daniel Island Business Association. She holds several Realtor designations, including ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) and CSP (Certified Short-sale Professional). She is E-Pro and eCertified, which means she is adept at using cutting-edge technology and digital initiatives to benefit today’s tech-savvy real estate clients.

But Thérése does more than just sell houses. She also educates first-time buyers by orchestrating “lunch and learn” seminars, which include a mortgage expert to answer financing questions. Her first publication, “Turning Dreams Into ‘Realty’ – A Handbook for Buying a Home In Charleston,” is due out from Amazon in 2018.

Outside of work, Thérése is a total “people person.” She loves the fun of cooking a good meal to share with friends, golfing on one of the area’s beautiful courses, exploring Charleston’s gorgeous beaches, playing tennis at Volvo Car Stadium, attending networking events and local music festivals and raising money for various local charities and animal shelters.
