CW: When did you decide to go into the business you are in?
“I stumbled across a definition of occupational therapy in 10th grade in high school. I immediately knew this was my calling and future path. I began to do everything necessary to plan for college acceptance into the OT program at Towson University in Maryland.”
CW: How do you find your passion?
“My passion is helping children and families to live their optimal life in the happiest and most fulfilling ways possible. If a child feels secure, happy and confident, then the whole family will have a happy heart. Developing Happy Hearts Therapy and creating a cohesive model of helping children and their families is truly my number-one passion in life.”
CW: Tell us about how you grew up and what or who shaped you into the woman you are today.
“I grew up surrounded by such a strong support system of family and friends. With constant encouragement to be the best version of myself, I always tried my hardest to maintain a positive attitude, trust in myself that I could overcome anything and embrace whatever the next big plan ahead was.”
CW: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or passed away), who would it be and why?
“I would love to have dinner with my late husband and mother-in-law who both passed away in January 2021. I want to share with them how much they are loved, missed and their legacy of inspiration and strength is continuing within me every day.”
